The Raymond Danowski Poetry Library consists of an astonishing 85,000 volumes of rare and first editions of modern and contemporary poetry and is one of the largest and most significant collections of verse in the world. It includes over 50,000 literary journals, several thousand broadsides, recordings, counterculture newspapers, unique manuscripts, ephemera, and other items that provide the full context of poetry as a vantage point on the 20th century and beyond.
