Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations helps companies and foundations build meaningful relationships with Emory University and Emory Healthcare. We use a holistic approach to help these organizations connect with the people, programs, and initiatives that best match their interests and goals. The resulting partnerships advance research, support education, strengthen health care, and build strong communities.
Our team also works across Emory to bring together university leadership, faculty and staff members, corporations, and foundations around shared priorities. These strategic relationships create opportunities for collaboration that produce long-term, beneficial results.
For Foundations
We align Emory’s mission-driven research, education, and health care with the funding goals of private foundations. Our office serves as a primary point of contact for foundations in the following ways:
- We match foundation funding interests with projects and programs across Emory.
- We work with Emory faculty and staff members to facilitate meetings, grant requests, and proposal development for foundations.
- We provide project management for grant reports and ongoing stewardship.
For Corporations
We help companies navigate our institution and identify opportunities to collaborate. Our office works with corporate partners to develop mutually beneficial collaborations with Emory.
- We serve as the gateway that connects corporations with Emory to support our mission.
- We introduce teams within and beyond Emory to expand research that helps solve real-world problems.
- We promote interactions between industry and Emory’s best talent through executive education, thought leadership, and recruitment opportunities.
For Emory Faculty and Staff
We connect faculty and staff members with industry and foundations to expand the reach of their research and teaching. Our office supports Emory by maintaining strong ties with industry partners, foundations, and other private organizations.
- We identify partners who are the best aligned for Emory’s education, research, and impact goals.
- We help develop substantive, reciprocal relationships with our partners.
- We work with faculty and staff members to submit strong, well-matched proposals to our partners.
