To honor the Michael C. Carlos Museum Bookshop and its closing, this fund was created to celebrate the work and effort provided by Mark Burell. Since opening in 1993 as part of the museum’s expansion, the Bookshop has stood as a beloved cornerstone of the Carlos and was shaped and stewarded by Mark Burell.
