Shengpu Tang Is Helping Build the Future of Medical AI
Shengpu Tang, assistant professor of computer science, teaches students in the classroom and in the lab to use AI to improve health care outcomes.
The Emory Arts Fellowship allows artists to explore their craft while expanding offerings for students. Part of the inaugural class of fellows, Tom Zhang says the program was particularly meaningful because of “the mixed focus of being both a teacher and also having more time to create.” Zhang is a theater-maker dedicated to creating performances that use humor to explore race relations and American identity.
